Film-Faced Plywood
Film-Faced Plywood
Description:

Species:

Birch/ Pine/ Poplar/ Eucalyptus

Grade:

First Class

Density:

120/ 220

Glue:

MR/ WBP

Applications

Film-Faced Plywood uses a phenolic resin film that is hot-pressed onto its surface, with WBP waterproof adhesive used for the veneer. The surface is waterproof, wear-resistant, and resistant to chemicals, fungi, and mold. Its main advantage lies in its use for concrete formwork, providing a smooth finish that showcases the natural beauty of concrete without needing additional treatments such as plastering, making it widely used in formwork engineering.

• High Strength and Wear Resistance
Film-Faced Plywood has excellent wear resistance and can withstand most corrosive environments, including chemicals, and can adapt to temperature changes from -40 to +50°C.

• Versatility
Film-Faced Plywood can be used in horizontal formwork, shear wall formwork, column formwork, beam formwork, etc., significantly reducing the amount of formwork investment and achieving better economic benefits.

• Concrete Formwork
Plywood Film-Faced Plywood is commonly used as "concrete formwork plywood" in construction sites. It provides the formwork for pouring concrete into a fixed shape, used for exterior scaffolding or inner and outer wall panels during concrete pouring in building construction. To increase the durability of the plywood against outdoor weather conditions, a larger amount of adhesive is usually used, resulting in better weather resistance and structural strength of the board.
